5 foods to eat when you have a cold

I don’t know about you but this winter it’s been awful, I got the cold in the beginning of December and yarn it with another cold, the flu and even an infection that got me 2 months out, when 2 weeks feeling good and again I am getting cold, not comments!

So today I wanted to share with you a list of 5 products to take while you are cold to help make you feel better,

1. Hot drinks, this is not just something that you mom used to tell to have your soup every time we were shit, the hot drinks and soups warms up your body and make you sweat which helps you to release toxins, also if you are feeling your throat sore also will reduce the irritations at least for a while,

2. Cinnamon, this may sound strange but cinnamon has antibiotic and antiviral properties, and it will help you to pass faster the cold, so add a branch of cinnamon on your tea or hot drink,

3. Garlic, this is something my sister told me a few years ago and it works good, the garlic has antibiotic, antibacterial and anti fungal properties so add a mince garlic to a glass of water and drink up, I know this is not the most appetizing drink but if it works…

4. Ginger, this is something I learn also from someone, I saw a friend a few years ago taking a ginger tea, mostly was a ginger root cook in water and he drunk the water when he was sick and it works, it help him with the muscle ache and fever,

5. Warm water and fresh lemon juice, this is something I do and I suggest to everyone to do every day even if you are not sick and is drinking a warm glass of water with a freshly squeezed lemon every morning, this will start up your metabolism, will also help clean up your digestive system and cause if packed of vitamin C will help you prevent colds,
