Exercise for desk jobs

I want to share with you some of my exercises that I do from time to time to stretch my body and also use them to activate my body cause from editing videos, retouching photos, writing posts, social media, emails, projects…. I spend so much time in front of the computer sitting on a desk so let’s used this in our advantage,

One of my favorite exercise to activate me and also to keep my buttocks on shape plus activating my legs blood flow is to do squats, so put the sit in the lower setting, stand up, place your feet with a shoulder apart and make the move to sitting on the chair but just when you are about to sit down stand up again without getting to reach the sit, do that 20 times a few times a day, you will see results very soon,

For the upper part of the body we will do an exercise to fit up the triceps, a very difficult area to keep in shape, so stand up, turn around leaving the desk on your back, take a step forward, lay back a bit to read the desk with your arms and flex the arms and knees, you will feel the triceps working right away, tip make sure the desk is steady enough and have a good grip to do this exercise otherwise use a window jamb or a kitchen counter,

To stretch the back, something that it comes handy in a desk job, stand up, open your legs with a shoulder apart, and roll your back slowly down until you reach the floor or as far as you can go, folding your body in half, hold the position for a few seconds and slowly start coming straight up, rolling vertebra by vertebra,

To stretch the neck we can do it sitting down, do the classic movements, move your head to each side trying to touch with your ear your shoulder, mode your head backwards resting your head into your fingers to don’t let it just drop back, do the same forward also using your fingers now to push softly down your head, and my favorite turn your head half way from looking straight and looking to your shoulder and again bring it down, reaching your chin in and pushing with your fingers softly your head down, your neck will be grateful,

And last but not least to keep your circulation moving we will do leg lifts, while you are sitting on the chair, lift your leg with the knee folder and keep it there for a few seconds then rotate your ankle to one side and to other, do the same to the other leg and repeat the process a couple of times few times a day, you will keep your circulation moving and reduce retentions,
