Who hasn´t hear the rumors about all the chemicals that the shampoos contains that makes us our hair to get dirty faster? well in general ideas is true, and why?
One of the ingredients that the most of the shampoos contains are silicons, that the only thing that do a part of giving that artificial shine to the hair is to stick on each hair and create a layer of chemicals that will eventually will get that hair to get dirty faster, so we will wash it sooner and get more silicons on our hair and so on…
Apart of the silicons the parabens are also included in many shampoos, parabens are preservatives that are not good on cosmetic use.
Let´s clean our hair from silicons with Lush
Getting to this point I had decided to clean my hair and get rid of all those chemicals and purify it using Lush products.
And you will ask why Lush? well I chosen Lush cause they have vegetarian products, don´t test in animals, just in humans and they are hand made. Apart of being a brand that I really like and I´ve been using to moisturized my skin for long time plush the bath bombs and the amazing masks, so why not?
Let´s start with the first step, the shampoo, I had chosen two different types of shampoos that I will use alternatively to see how they work on my hair.
And the shampoo I had chosen are solid shampoos, with a very easy way to use it, just damp your hair and damp the shampoo, rub the shampoo on your hair and just wash your hair as normal, not needing two wash process to get the hair completely clean.
The first solid shampoo I had chosen is NEW! a recently launches shampoo that revitalizes the scalp with the infusions and essential oils, the mint will stimulate the hair follicle equilibrating the scalp, its recommended for those who suffer of temporary hair lost for stress or hormonal derangements.
And the second solid shampoo is Oceanic, with two types of softeners algae, japanese nori and Irland musk, with a touch of marine salt to have a cleaner finish and to keep the scalp from irritating, and giving some volume! I notice a lot of more volume since I use this Oceanic solid shampoo, with lemon for shine and jasmine and orange blossom as perfume.
The next step is conditioning the hair, and for that I also chosen a solid conditioning that applies as the solid shampoo, damping the conditioner and apply on the middle and the ends of the hair, leaving the product to work for a few minutes.
The solid conditioner that I had chosen is Sublime, and as the name said is sublime! this is the conditioner version of the Sublime shampoo, with lemon juice, marine salt from the spanish costs of Cádiz, coconut oil, jojoba and algae´s infusion.
And the final touch is once a month or every two weeks to treat deeply the hair, moisturizing and hydrating the hair, and I will do it with a liquid product.
The hydrating mask I had chosen is H´suan Wen Hua, a vitamines from the watercress, the fresh country side eyes and banana paste to give the most moister as your hair needs.
We will apply it on the hair and leave it 20 minutes and raise it all off.
I will take you with me in this process, but for now I can tell you that one of the cons that this process has is that you may feel while your hair is detoxifying can feel drier, less shine and in a very weird state, so for a while until your hair gets the natural health and shine you will feel like your hair is loosing the healthy but what is loosing is the “artificial health”.
But I haven´t felt that so far, I´ve been using this shampoos for a couple of weeks and I had a bit less shine but I still feel my hair healthy and now I have more volume, so I am very happy so far. It last clean for 4 days and I am still in the middle of the process so I am pretty sure it would last 5 days clean without a problem.
But the biggest change has happen to my sister, she has started to use Lush solid shampoos without me knowing a few weeks before me and one day she told me that she was very happy with her new clean state of her hair, I asked her and she told me she started to use the Lush shampoos and before her hair last just hours clean and now it last up to 3 days clean! soon I will tell you more about it!
I will get the entire story and I will let you know and show you the big different!

Hola Silvia, yo empecé a usar productos lush pero el problema me llegó al no encontrar ningún protector térmico sin siliconas… Y claro, pensé: de que sirve desintoxicar mi cabello de siliconas si luego las vuelvo a aplicar con él protector… Que puedo hacer?

Si la verdad es que en cierto modo tienes razón, pero supongo que aplicar un poco de protector término de vez en cuando no es tan malo como usar champú y acondicionador cada vez que te lavas el cabello no? me pondré manos a la obra en buscar algo sin siliconas, aunque no se… gracias por pasarte

Yo también empecé a usar productos Lush para desintoxicar mi cabello. Pero el problema llegó al no encontrar ningun protector térmico sin siloconas, y claro, pensé que para que servía desintoxicarlo para luego aplicarme más…. Que puedo hacer?

Yo también he empezado hace una semana con el jabón sólido de lush y estoy más que contenta. Si me dura más el pelo limpio pero 5 días no.. jeje

Pendiente me queda ir a comprar la mascarilla, que la olvidé por completo ya ahora me siento mal al usar una con siliconas 😉

Muy interesante, no he probnado estos champús, no uso acondicionador de ningún tipo y marca porque es un producto que no me gusta para mi pelo, pero a pesar de las siliconas que pueden llevar los champús el cabello me dura limpio… lo lavo 2 veces a la semana y podría aguantar con 1

Me parece super interesante tu entrada! LUSH me llama muchisimo la atención desde que lo conozco. Me regaalron una caja con gel, exfoliante y bombas, que son una gozada! Pero de la línea capilar, todavía no he probado. El miedo que le tengo, es que utilizo una mascarilla para fijar mi color, ya que lo llevo cobrizo intenso y acostumbra a perder intensidad con los lavados. Y también quería hacerme un tratamiento de la marca abril et nature, como para recuperar la vitalidad del cabello, o algo así jejeje, y no se si será compatible con los productos LUSH.

Si que se ha hablado mucho del tema de siliconas y de parabenes, lo que no sabía es que este proceso suele ser molesto o desagradable, eso quiere decir que todos estos ingredientes son malos para nuestro cabello, nos tienen engañados!
