Today Verónica is doing a very summery Nail Friday chapter, she has got inspired by the sailor marine feeling that goes around this season but with a bit of a glamour twist to it, I’ll leave you with her,

Hi guys, today I am doing a different marine sailor manicure version that we all see the same type around summer, today I am doing a more nighty, glamour, sparkle type of marine sailor, lets begin,

Products:

1. We will start with a base coat to prevent the nails from getting yellow and stain from the nail polish, and more if the nail polish is dark, also use this step if you have any problem and you need to treat it,

2. Add two coats of the dark blue nail polish to create a solid base, if you need to apply more than two do so but remember to get them completely dry before starting with the design,

3. Create stripes with the decoration ribbon, create horizontal lines to the base of the nail and feel free to create the space between the ribbons which is going to be in silver as thin and as thick as you like,

4. We will create this design in three of the five nails, I decided to do so but you can chose as many as you, all the nails, a couple of nails etc, to fit your likes or desire,

5. Now for the next step once we are happy with the ribbon design, we will add one or two coats of the silver nail polish on top, until we will just see a bit of the ribbon, then let them to get dry,

6. We will start with the two left nails design, an anchor, firstly I can suggest you to add a top coat on the nails to get a smoother surfers to work the design, then take the white nail polish and create a vertical line from top to bottom but leaving a space between them and from the bottom part which is the part closer to the tip of the nail we will create two lines in perpendicular direction to the borders of the nail, like you see on the pic,

7. We add on the opposite side of the line a dot and a cross line just above the dot, and we have the anchor design, very easy, quick and very nice looking marine anchor drawing,

8. To finish up the anchor design we will take back the deep blue nail polish and create a smaller dot in the center of the upper big white dot to create dimension of the anchor,

9. We take off the ribbons onces the silver nail polish is dried, we add a quick dryer or a top coat and we are done, our very glamour glitter sparkly marine sailor manicure for summer,
