Today I want to tell you my experience with Bdellium Tools makeup brushes, and yes!!! they are colored!! pink, green, yellow!! aaaahh!! I know I know keep calm… lets go slow!
Bdellium Tools is a tool brand designed by a group of professional makeup artist from Cerritos, California, handmade to ensure the quality and integrity of each product.
They have synthetic and natural brushes, even they mixed them in some brushes to create the perfect firm and form to each tool.
They have different collection and qualities, Maestro, Studio, Travel, Green Bambu, Yellow Bambu and Pink Bambu.
I am going to talk about two collection, the profesional Maestro, the Studio collection and the Bambu Yellow, Pink and Green.
The last three collection are vegan, made with eco-friendly products, synthetic and an anodized aluminum ferrule, which hast longer durability and resistance.
And the Maestro collection which is the most professional one, made with the most quality fibers and nickel-plated brass ferrule and luxuriously lacquered black wood handle for ultimate style and comfort. They feel high quality, that doesn´t mean that the other collections has bad quality, but this one has a very good quality and it feels professional, they are the ones I liked the most.
We start talking about the Studio collection, the 936 concealer brush, a synthetic brush with a flat end, yellow handler and aluminum ferrule.
In my personal experience I don´t like these brushes to use them for the concealer, I don´t like the finish they leave, but I love them for cream products, eyeshadows or highlighters.
Price 7,90$.
The next brush is form the Pink Bambu collection, the 760 eyeliner/brow pencil, with pink handler and aluminum ferrule. Angled and small, with short bristles.
I really liked this brush, for the brows and for the eyeliner, but I like more for eyeliner cause has to firm bristles that can get to strong lines on the brows, so perfect for the eyeliner to create the perfect line.
Precio 7,00$.
We are going back to the Studio collection, now we are talking about the 774 shading brush, with the same yellow handler and aluminum ferrule, in this brush the bristles are medium long and very soft, with a bit of firm structure so it´s easier to apply a compact eyeshadow.
Perfect to apply eyeshadows on the lid and compact the color with no problem, is very soft, soft enough to be able to use it to blend the cut of the eyeshadow we applied.
Price 7,92$.
And we are back to the PInk Bambu collection, and now we are talking about the pencil brush 780, with the same pink handler and aluminum ferrule, the bristles are not so compact, they spread to the sides on the tip so they them this brush great to blend with the tips.
Basically I use this brush to blend the upper and lower lash line more than apply compact eyeshadow with it.
Price 7,92$.
We are going to talk about my favorite collection, Maestro, with the flat eyeliner brush 714, with black handler and nickel-plated brass ferrule, with firm synthetic short bristles, with a flat finish.
I am not used to use this brush as eyeliner but I really like for lower lash line eyeshadow application, leaving a very compact intense application, but also can be use for the upper lash line for sure.
Price 9,68$.
We continue with the Maestro collection, with a lip pencil 546 brush, with a square shape with close and firm bristles.
I like this brush for it´s firm and square finish, cause it leaves a professional polish finish, but if you are use to the pointed lip brush you will need to get use to this square finish brush.
Precio 9,68$.
Let´s start with the first of the Green Bambu collection, this time the multitask 964 brush, with green handler, aluminum ferrule and green bristles, has soft but firm bristles with rounded tip so it can be use for different things.
I really like this type of brushes I use them a lot, for the blush, the bronzer and to contour, it´s very soft but firm, perfect for these tasks and has the perfect size, not to big and small enough.
Precio 13,20$.
We continue with the Green Bambu collection, but this time is a smaller brush, the 940, with green handler and bristles that goes from white to green, this is a much smaller brush, thinner and slimmer but with wider finish to blend the face.
This is a much smaller brush with more limited uses, I use it mostly for the highlighter.
Price 9,68$.
And we are getting to the Pink Bambu collection, the 959 powder brush, with pink handler and aluminum ferrule, with pink compact rounded bristles, with wider finish and very soft.
I think is a very cute brush, applies the powder very compacted, so it´s perfect for oily skins, I use it more for bronzer or contour cause it leaves to compacted the powder on my dry skin.
Price 16,20$.
So my final experience has been very good using these Bdellium Tools brushes, I had washed them a few times and they haven´t lost any bristles and tint so far, and they take the same time as my other brushes to dry out, they feel with weight so feels with quality and they have and amazing prices.
So I hope you liked it and here you have more reviews and remember we are getting close to Halloween season and I want you to leave you some of my special effects looks so you can try out some of them!
