Verónica is here with another manicure for Nail Friday, and as I told you two weeks ago today she is bringing a manicure for this season! a marine manicure!! very easy to do but I will let her to tell you!
Hi everyone, as Silvia was saying today I am doing a manicure perfect for this season, I want to leave aside the pale or neon tones of the summer and get inspired by a very classic summer look on the coast, I am talking about marine look, for that I will use a base a metallic deep blue nail polish as I will play with horizontal white lines on the pits of the nails, I will use the same lace that I use in the past manicure but in a different use, let´s start!
Products to use:
*Blue metallic base tone Masglo Atractiva.
*White tone Kiko French manicure.
*Top Coat Essence.
Let´s start with our base tone, in my case this metallic blue to recreate the marine look, and I will add a couple of layers, if you need more or less do so and let it to get completely dry before starting with de design.
We will take the ribbon from the previous manicure and make three horizontal lines, this way we will get three white lines, one from the end of the nail to the first ribbon line, the second white line will be from the first ribbon to the second ribbon line and the third white line will be from the second to the last ribbon line.
You don´t need to cut the ribbon just on the border of the nail you can leave a bit of extra ribbon that way it will be easier to take it off once the white is dry.
You can do the design in just two or three nails no problem, I will do it in all the nails.
Once you have all the ribbon applied on the nails then take you white nail polish and apply it on the tip of the nails, don´t go upper than the last ribbon, that way you will get a perfect line.
If you white nail polish is not too opaque you can add a couple of layers and leave it to get completely dry.
If we take off the ribbon before the white nail polish is completely dry the lines can get ruined and don´t look perfect.
Once the nail polish is completely dry then take off the ribbons and done, you have perfect marine lines, make sure you place the ribbons with the same distance between then and also similar from one nail to other.
Continue with the rest of the nail design, if you want you can start with the pointed, middle, ring and little finger before starting with the thumb so you won´t ruin the rest of the nail design.
Then start with the thumbs with no distractions and rush.
And we are done! this is the final manicure! just is left to add the top coat and done! we have finished!
I hope you like it and that we will see each other in two weeks, kiss
