To know your skin under tone we have a trick, we can use jewelry to found out, use gold and silver, place it on your neck and see which one it works better on your skin, if it’s the gold you are warm under tone so more yellow and if the silver works better then you are cold under tone so more pink, so now we have a fewer foundations to choose from.

Now we have the under tone so take three foundations that may work as your shade and create three strikes on your neck, and why your neck cause we want to have one color all over the chest, neck and face, so choosing the neck color will do that, then blend the three foundations and see which one it doesn’t show at all, that your shade.

The color correctors are concealer but more specifically to conceal colors, the green will conceal redness, the salmon or pink will conceal blue or purple, the purple will concealer yellow undertone and then we have the one or two shades lighter concealer that will be use as highlighter.

We have always to use a skin shade concealer after using a color corrector to cover that color that may show through the foundation if we leave it like that, so always use first color corrector if you need it, then concealer and then the foundation.

That orden will work for a more blend out and soft finish conceal, if we want a more strong and perfect conceal effect use first the foundation and then the concealer.

Set everything like a powder, loose for dry skin and compact for oily skin, a light touch of contour or bronzer and a blush to give back the volumen to your face.

I hope you like my tips to choose your right foundation shade, here you have more techniques posts,

See you tomorrow and be happy,
