Now is time to come back to work and the routine, and one of the things we need to start getting back in balance is our diet, cause in the summer we tent to go under control of our diet eating irregularly and one part of the getting back to the routine is to be back on track,

So today we will be talking about one of the most difficult parts of the balanced diet which is not over snacking or the graving between hours, is very easy to come to the temptation for boredom, routine or just because is there,

So today I will give you 6 tips to avoid over snacking or graving between hours to be able to stay on track in our healthy diet,

1. Drink water, this is one of the most common factors to over snacking and why? cause the thirst sensation is the same as the hunger sensation so sometimes we feel hungry when it could be just thirst and we over snack, so make sure you drink water when you feel hungry to avoid over snacking,

2. Brush your teeth, some times just brushing your teeth is enough for not snacking, when you are thinking in eating something sweet or snack brushing your teeth will change the flavor on your mouth sending a different message to the brain making stop to want to eat that sweet or snack, it does really works!

3. Broke the routine, as I was saying before over snacking can come from boredom, so braking the routine will help, take a break and go for a short walk or do an errand, the task is to distract your mind,

4. Chewing a gum, when we chew we create a sensation that the brain of satisfaced, so is a good option to chew a gum for a few minutes when you are feel graving something,

5. Snack healthy, if any of the tips we can’t deal with the graving of snacking go for a healthy snack, if you are graving sweets go for a piece of fruit and if your are graving a salty snack for a crunchy alternatives like celery, carrots or cherry tomatos,

6. Indulge yourself, from time to time you can indulge yourself with something that you like, put a day every week or every two weeks when you can indulge yourself with that thing you like the most to calm your graving, cause if you prohibe yourself to something for long time that graving will get worse and worse until the moment you won’t resist and you will over eat of that, so is better to reduce that graving by indulging yourself from time to time,
